Join the Ocean Institute for a summer to remember! Young scientists and buccaneers will love our fun, unique camps, as they are immersed in our educational and exciting programming. Our ACA accredited camps are taught by our amazing team of First Aid Certified instructors with a low student to instructor ratio, so your child is safe, engaged, and having a great time while they are learning from the best!

A Beautiful Weekend To Hike The Strand

The weather prediction is 73 degrees and sunny all weekend. The perfect weather for taking a hike at The Strands three miles of coastal trails. You will want to stop in and get a hiking trail map at The Strand at Headlands sales office located right off Pacific Coast Hwy and Selva Road. From there you are a short walk to connect to the 1.5 miles of white sand beach that you will walk towards the landmark headland. Along the way you can discover such things as the Veterans Memorial Plaza and stop in at the Nature Interpretive Center where you can get information on the 3 acre preserves nature and wildlife.

The Strand At Headlands community is center stage to this paradise setting you will be exploring along your hike. The custom homesites all offer expansive ocean and coastal views. The Strand at Headlands, and its strategic partner, The Ritz-Carlton, offer eco-adventures for adults and children.
